Job Summary
Operations Supervisor at Brink’s Sydney facility overseeing daily runs and vault activities, supervising vault operations, ensuring security compliance, and maintaining productivity standards for customer service response times and cash in transit; leads staffing decisions, handles grievances and disciplinary recommendations under Collective Bargaining Agreements, investigates workplace incidents, allocates resources, and drives process improvements. Requires leadership experience in transportation/logistics, proficiency with Power BI and Excel, and a valid PAL/Driver’s license. The role emphasizes team leadership, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency in a security-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience within transportation and logistics, preferably in a unionized environment or armoured car industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Analytical proficiency with strong customer focus
- Ability to manage conflicts directly, cooperatively, and with attention to detail
- Proven leadership abilities and decision-making
- Self-motivated and resourceful with ability to motivate others
- Experience with Power BI and Business Objects
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Valid Driver's License and PAL (for both Restricted and Non-Restricted) or ability to obtain within six months
- Willingness to cover night and/or day shifts, weekends, and afternoons as needed
