Job Summary
Oversee all manufacturing operations in the 1st Shift production line by delegating tasks, addressing quality issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Create and maintain production schedules while organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. Improve material flow proactively communicating schedule shortfalls and drive continuous process improvement through Lean Principles. Manage operations supervisors to maintain KPI metric boards and coach the leadership team on development and employee relations. Develop staffing labor plan adjustments to meet production targets and ensure production floor areas remain clean and organized. Actively participate in hiring, evaluation, and coaching processes for department employees.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience of at least 5 years
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication
- Excellent organization and leadership skills
- Strong decision-making skills and results-driven approach
- Lean Principles: Problem Solving, Flow, Standard Work, Kanban, SM
