Job Summary
Operations Supervisor for 3rd shift in a multi-functional automotive/painting facility. Responsible for planning, directing and running day-to-day operations across automotive mechanical, paint, fabrication, milling, and logistics to exceed client expectations, increase production and asset utilization while maintaining quality and safety, and to drive continuous improvement through data analysis, staffing, and cross-functional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Experience working in automotive manufacturing/production environment
- Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means
- Proven knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources and profit & loss)
- Familiarity with automotive industry standard equipment and technical expertise
- Knowledgeable in areas of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Computer literacy- ability to produce Excel & PowerPoint information and present capably, as needed
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skill
- Must be able to list up to 75 lbs.
