Job Summary
Conduct daily maintenance of the building and equipment, including ice removal and installation, while supporting overall facility upkeep. Clean locker rooms, empty trash, sweep and mop floors, and perform general labor such as removing advertising, setting tables and chairs, building stages, and exterior maintenance. Assist with hockey-related area maintenance and duties like mowing and snow removal at the MEC and Tourist Park. Complete end-of-shift duties and respond to malfunctions during events. Work a flexible schedule based on events, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects frequently
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on events, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with facilities maintenance
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with ice operations such as ice removal or ice installation
