Job Summary
Conduct event setup and teardown, including flooring, portable chairs, airwalls, and staging equipment. Perform daily facility operations by loading/unloading trucks, transporting waste, and executing cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Execute repairs and maintenance on tables, chairs, and retractable seating while reporting equipment damage or safety concerns promptly. Operate a forklift and adhere to strict safety regulations and deadlines. Work long, irregular hours including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Demonstrate ability to carry out tasks in a reliable, productive, and expedient manner
- ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to event set-up and conversions
