Job Summary
Operations Specialist/Truck Driver at CHS Devils Lake in Adams, ND. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and skid steers, loading and unloading agricultural inputs, preparing trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, maintaining the yard and equipment, performing repairs and maintenance tasks, monitoring inventory quality, delivering products safely and professionally, ensuring hours-of-service compliance, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and assisting across agronomy functions as needed. The role is hands-on and team-focused with flexibility to help wherever needed; CHS will provide support and training to help you obtain your CDL. Skills/experience emphasized include 1+ years in operations/trucking, ability to read/write English, lifting up to 75 lbs, and a preference for CDL-related endorsements and agriculture background.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Valid Class A CDL preferred
