Job Summary
Review and process NSF notices, unposted items, ACH exceptions, return items, and digital banking wire transfers. Handle incoming and outgoing wire transfers, foreign check collections, stop payments, and mobile banking deposits. Process ACH and debit card disputes, document editing, and fraud review. Provide customer service over the phone and manage chargeback items while adhering to strict compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and Financial Recordkeeping regulations. Requires 1-2 years of bank operations experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to work under time constraints in a general office environment with periodic travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- 1-2 years Bank Operations experience
- Ability to effectively communicate courteously and professionally in English (both written and oral)
- Ability to perform all assigned duties and responsibilities within a reasonable time frame
- Strong computer skills and ability to utilize all necessary software applications
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Strong listening skills with the ability to recognize opportunities for referring the customer for needed products/services
- Organizational skills with ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Sound reasoning and judgment skills
- Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Able to sit or stand for an extended period of time
- Able to exercise a full range of body motion, including sitting, standing, walking, stooping and reaching
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Requires Team Member to talk and hear
- Requires Team Member to use fine motor skills
- Special vision abilities require close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- May be necessary to work extended hours
- Periodic travel
