Job Summary
Operations Specialist Fergus Falls responsible for indirect supervision of Transportation and technician departments, ensuring compliance with MN statutes related to services for NBHN populations, managing fleet and purchasing, and supporting cost-of-care initiatives. Performs budgeting with VP Operations, participates in management committees, supports quality improvement projects (PULSE/QI), analyzes financial and operational data to gauge progress, and maintains knowledge of applicable laws. Requires interpersonal skills, staff coaching, confidentiality, and readiness to engage in orientation and on-the-job training for technicians; includes driving responsibilities and background clearance, with proficiency in Procentive, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Procentive experience (preferred)
- Proficient in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and general computer use
- Valid MN driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of a background study in DHS
- Free of chemical use problems for at least one year prior to hire
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to participate in NBH-provided courses
- Knowledge of Minnesota Department of Human Services 245G requirements
- Knowledge of Minnesota Department of Transportation requirements
- Knowledge of Minnesota Department of Health requirements
- Strong organizational management skills
- Ability to lead and coach staff
- Strong communication and confidentiality practices
