Job Summary
Complete licensing paperwork, coordinate staff training, and manage operational monitoring for early childhood programs. Assist with new teacher onboarding, parent outreach, and large-scale distributions while supporting the Operations Director with reporting and appeals. Organize meetings, disseminate regulatory updates from CCL and CDSS, and handle phone calls, emails, and memos. Travel locally for events and work some nights and weekends. This role ensures safe, compliant operations for the YMCA of the East Bay's ECI team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid California Driver's License
- proof of auto insurance
- annual DMV check
- Criminal record clearance
- health requirements that include physical exam
- TB screen
- immunizations
- Must be able to work on a computer for an extended period of time
- Must be able to travel locally for meetings, training and special events
- Must be able to work some nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business administration
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood education
- Associate's degree in related field
- Current Site Supervisor Level permit or above
- Two years' experience as an ECE teacher
- Two years' experience as an administrator/leader
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Outlook
- Proficiency in databases
- Proficiency in other computer programs
