Job Summary
Operations Specialist – DTC Settlements responsible for processing and settling trades for equities, fixed income, and commercial paper through DTC; verify trade information against broker presentations, handle daily volumes, reconcile discrepancies, escalate high-value issues to management, and communicate professionally with clients and counterparties. Contributes to management reporting and process improvements, with a focus on productivity and understanding the impact of functions on the firm. Requires strong PC skills, organizational and time management abilities, and a team-oriented approach to meet deadlines and multitask.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in trade processing and settlements
- Ability to process and settle trades for equities, fixed income, and commercial paper through DTC
- Strong client communication and professional relationship management
- Proven ability to manage daily volumes, reconcile discrepancies, and escalate high-value issues
- Contribute to management reporting and process improvements
