Job Summary
Operations Specialist responsible for assisting Delta Gamma Fraternity and Foundation volunteers and staff with customer service, event guideline processing, initiation approvals, letters, reports, and managing the membership database. Focus on building relationships with Executive Offices staff, Council, and Cabinet while aligning duties with the Constitution and policies. Duties include answering inbound calls, managing Mu Lamps of Knowledge programs, handling emails, articulating event guideline processes for events with alcohol, communicating with collegiate chapter officers and advisers about paperwork submissions, guidelines, approvals, and cancellations related to events with alcohol, reviewing event guideline and initiation approval paperwork for completion and compliance, educating officers and advisers on event guidelines and procedures, and taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by general counsel/director of operations or Executive Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 1-2 years of relevant operations and customer service experience
- Membership in Delta Gamma preferred, not required
- Professional demeanor with ability to maintain highly confidential information and be customer service oriented
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Experience with MS-Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
