Job Summary
Conduct data measurements on greenhouse, field, and cage operations for germination, pollination, pre-harvest, and seed extraction. Act as the site quality ambassador to manage protocol compliance and safety while supervising and training third-party contract labor teams. Manage process improvement projects, design trainings, and maintain detailed records of trial statuses and plant metrics. Collaborate with breeding teams to coordinate activities and respond to on-site emergencies, including occasional weekend work. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and stewardship practices. Bachelor's degree in a related agricultural field required with MS Office proficiency. Salary ranges from $66,400 to $96,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Plant Breeding, Agribusiness, Agronomy, Biology, Horticulture, General Agriculture or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database management
- Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with or ability to learn specialized breeding management software and data collection tools
- Candidates must be already located in the United States and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (Includes OPT)
- Respond to on-site emergencies and weather-related challenges, including occasional weekend work as needed
