Operations Specialist

End-to-end coordination of Ocean exports, including bookings, carrier and vendor management, documentation compliance, shipment tracking, KPI and reporting, issue escalation, billing resolution, and oversight of special/critical cases to ensure timely vessel departures and monthly closures. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external clients, managing carriers and vendors (transporter, CHA, CFS, packing & fumigation), booking placement with carrier, container placement, CHA communication, system entry and instruction sharing for operators, container allocation follow-up, monitoring vessel cut-offs (SI, VGM, AMS, ISF filing), resolving queries on SI/AMS/ISF with commercial aspects, updating daily DSR and FMC/AMS/ISF filing reports, handling critical cases with carriers, resolving carrier/vendor invoice queries, and managing destination communications and KPI reporting for monthly closings. Also covers OOG shipments and escalation/dispute resolution, with the role described as an individual contributor position.
