Job Summary
Optimize treatment plant staffing, power, and chemical costs while developing startup, commissioning, and testing plans. Lead facility tuning efforts, prepare standard operating procedures, and create operator training courses. Conduct overall systems performance evaluations, review operating data, and develop strategies for operational data acquisition. Prepare process trouble-shooting guidelines and assist clients in staff development and transition planning. Evaluate staffing levels and training needs to support facility optimization services. Participate in project pursuits and attend selected conferences. Requires extensive water/wastewater process operations experience, upper-level licensing, and at least ten years of experience including three in a supervisory capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in water and/or wastewater process operations
- Knowledge of regulated water/wastewater business and regulatory requirements
- Minimum of ten (15) years of experience with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity
- Upper-level licensing in water and/or wastewater treatment plant operation
- AAS in Water Quality Management, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Environmental Science or related field of study
- Business and financial acumen

- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Innovative leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Environmental Science or related field of study
- Superintendent or director experience in utility operations
