Job Summary
Operations Specialist role supporting regional operations through workflow improvement, training, and process optimization. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing documentation such as insurance verification and authorizations, entering and validating patient data in EMR systems, analyzing workflows to identify errors and implementing solutions, collaborating with teams to resolve issues, maintaining knowledge of payer guidelines, assisting with training materials and onboarding, participating in projects to refine processes, meeting quality and performance metrics while managing multiple priorities, delivering and educating patients on home medical equipment as needed, performing patient assessments and follow-ups to support care and compliance, ensuring HIPAA, PPE, and infection control standards, and safely operating company vehicles for equipment delivery. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in a relatable field, a valid driver’s license, and one year of relevant experience; healthcare experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in relatable field (Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or equivalent)
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- One year of relatable work experience
- Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service is a plus but not required
- Experience within a healthcare organization, pharmacy, HME, medical supply, or Medicare-certified environment is a plus but not required
