Job Summary
Operations Specialist role supporting regional operations through workflow improvement, training, and process optimization; handles insurance verification, authorizations, and order accuracy; navigates EMR systems to enter and track patient and authorization data; analyzes workflows to identify errors and implement solutions; collaborates with teams to resolve issues, communicates trends, and ensures compliance with payer guidelines, HIPAA, PPE, and infection-control standards; assists with training materials, onboarding, and cross-functional support; drives patient care activities including delivering and educating patients on home medical equipment; maintains focus on quality and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in relatable field (Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or equivalent work experience)
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- One (1) year of relatable work experience
- Experience in healthcare environment a plus but not required
Desired Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred but not required
- Experience within a healthcare organization, pharmacy, HME, medical supply, or Medicare-certified environment is a plus but not required
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare systems a plus
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Clinical roles require licensure/certification where applicable
