Job Summary
Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams by driving compliance to company policies, safeguarding funds and assets, and maintaining accurate record-keeping procedures. Provide guidance to supervisors to ensure smooth customer flow at registers and manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPS. Oversee the receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks while acting as Manager on Duty to set the leadership example for customers and staff. Coach, train, and develop a team of Cashiers, Customer Service Supervisors, Receiving team members, and Receiving Supervisors. Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning, and communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams. Requires 3+ years of retail management experience in a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience at an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or medium to large-sized, multi-unit retail organization
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
- Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
- Travel may be required from time to time
