Job Summary
Operations Senior Manager for Commercial Lending Underwriting leads and develops the Secured Lending Underwriting team within Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking Operations. Responsible for managing 20–25 staff across individual contributors and managers, directing process-improvement, risk-control development, policy interpretation, and strategy execution across a moderate-to-high risk functional area. Engages stakeholders and external customers, guides talent development, allocates resources, and collaborates with senior leadership to ensure delivery of objectives in a temporarily hybrid on-site setup in Manila (Taguig/Makati). Desirable qualifications include MBA/CPA/CFA, experience in transformation initiatives, Six Sigma, and familiarity with process mining and AI fundamentals.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Operations experience
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- 7+ years of Commercial Lending Underwriting experience
- 3+ years of People Management and/or Project Management experience
- Experience handling team size of 20+ for at least 3 years
- Experience in building teams and transition management
- Led transformation projects with understanding of Six Sigma, AI fundamentals and process mining technologies (preferred)
- Must be amenable to on-site work in Manila with temporary hybrid setup (4x onsite, 1x remote)
