Operations SCADA Engineer

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting plant and control room SCADA systems, OT infrastructure, communication networks, and operational data systems. Perform root cause analysis of system failures, communication issues, data quality concerns, and operational incidents. Support operations teams in restoring service and resolving OT issues through remote troubleshooting and onsite support as needed. Develop and deploy standardized SCADA, HMI, alarm management, reporting, and OT solutions across the fleet. Lead or support strategic initiatives aimed at improving reliability, consistency, operational efficiency, maintainability, and cybersecurity. Support the configuration, testing, deployment, and modification of SCADA systems associated with operational improvement projects, upgrade, and obsolescence initiatives. Provide OT expertise to Engineering, Asset Management, Operations, and EPC contractors during project execution, commissioning, and handover activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline and minimum 5 years' experience supporting SCADA and OT systems in power generation or similar critical infrastructure environments. Ability to travel to operating sites in Canada and the US is required.
