Job Summary
Senior Operations Risk Advisor focusing on equity operations risk management within JPMorgan Chase. Responsible for independent risk assessments, planning and documenting reports with GEO stakeholders and Control Managers; developing testing approaches; reporting on effectiveness of controls across risk stripes; communicating issues clearly to stakeholders; identifying improvement opportunities; influencing training to keep the team current on methodology, technology, tools, and industry trends; promoting an inclusive, diverse work environment and collaboration with stakeholders on change initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in Operations, Controls Management, Product Control, or Audit roles within Equities
- Business and Industry Knowledge – Demostrable knowledge and experience of Equity Operations – trade management, clearing, settlements, margin & collateral, payments, and reconciliations
- Methodology & Analytical Skills – Strong analytical skills, independent and objective approach, understanding of internal controls and risk assessment concepts
- Teamwork - Ability to execute assignments independently with limited supervision and clear communication
