Job Summary
As the Operations Resource Coordinator for the Submarines program, you will act as the primary liaison between Talent Acquisition, Training, Programs, Operations, and Electric Boat personnel. This role involves maintaining trades labor and leadership reports, requisitioning indirect materials, providing input to cost account analysis, and managing manpower schedules. You will oversee the travel arrangements for trainees, develop metrics to track progress, and ensure accurate record-keeping of employee status and qualifications. The position requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and you will be responsible for delivering updates to senior management both internally and externally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Contract Management, Program Management, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in recruiting, training, or relevant work on U.S. government projects/programs or in U.S. government contracting required
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating multi-faceted programs, initiatives, or events required
- Ability to effectively coordinate craft recruitment activities
- Will maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills required
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of maritime skilled trades and relevant technical testing procedures preferred
- Experience with Affirmative Action Plan guidelines and adherence preferred
- Proficient in MS Office essentials, HRIS applications and knowledge of e-recruiting
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must meet the following employment eligibility guidelines: 18 years of age or older at time of application
- Able to provide proof of US Person Status
- No felony convictions of Theft/Deception or Violent crimes within seven years from disposition date
- No felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years from disposition date
- Willing to submit to a drug screen
- Willing to submit to a background check
