Job Summary
Mid-level Operations Research / Systems Analyst (ORSA) to support Air Force and NSA cryptologic missions. Apply decision analytics, statistical analysis, data mining, and modeling & simulation to address operational and planning challenges. Develop analytic products integrating multi-source intelligence, leveraging cryptologic operations, SIGINT resource management, and multi-INT capabilities. Produce actionable insights for senior leadership to inform strategic, operational, and tactical decisions. Requires independent analytic execution, DoD/IC security compliance, and the ability to translate complex data into defensible conclusions; travel for CONUS/OCONUS missions as needed. Preferred familiarity with NSA/IC analytic frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB). Employment contingent upon successful drug screening and security clearances. The role emphasizes collaboration across analysts, planners, engineers, and subject matter experts across disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of Master’s degree
- TS/SCI eligibility with favorable Tier 5 investigation (polygraph may be required for some positions)
- 6+ years of experience conducting operations research, intelligence analysis, or related analytic work (with recent experience)
- Experience applying analytic methodologies including trend analysis and multi-source data integration
- Proficiency with standard analytic and productivity tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level briefings
- Ability to perform independent analysis and contribute to team-based problem solving
- Willingness to comply with DoD, Air Force, and IC security and conduct standards
- Ability to support CONUS and OCONUS missions as required
- Experience with data modeling, statistical analysis, data mining, and modeling & simulation
- Knowledge of ISR operations, SIGINT, and multi-INT integration
- Safeguarding classified information and adherence to IC policies
- Experience collaborating across disciplines with analysts, planners, engineers
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights
