Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for large, complex DoD acquisition programs while performing schedule risk assessments that include developing schedule logic, identifying driving paths, and critical dependencies. Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) using Monte Carlo simulation techniques to quantify uncertainty and identify key risk drivers, then provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and improve program execution. Interface directly with government program managers, technical leads, and executive leadership to deliver clear schedule briefings and decision-support products, while supporting proposal efforts, contract start-up activities, and transition-in planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 11+ years of related work experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a scheduling, planning, or schedule risk role within a defense, space, or federal acquisition environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Project
- at least 5 years of hands-on experience using MS Project or comparable scheduling tools
- Proven experience evaluating schedule risk on complex, multi-disciplinary programs
- hands-on experience conducting Monte Carlo-based schedule risk analyses
- Experience planning and executing customer engagements, particularly with new customers, to implement or enhance schedule management practices
- Demonstrated ability to brief and interact with executive-level stakeholders, translating complex schedule data into decision-quality insights
