Job Summary
Conduct operational research analytic support for the Operational Consultation Support team, USAFSAM studies, and 711 HPW researches. Analyze management problems to define, quantify, and recommend the feasibility of assigned projects, studies, or problems. Perform independent analysis leading to unique analytical research proposals and studies that recommend alternative courses of action. Ensure discovered problems are clearly defined through data collection, research, and investigation of objectives and relevant criteria. Answer identified questions, provide or critique essential elements of analysis, and suggest analytical techniques to be employed. Draft technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations pertaining to the status of research and data analysis, meeting FESS projected suspense dates. This role supports the Department of Aerospace Medicine, Studies and Analysis Division, and Operational Consult team within Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- ability to pass a security background check
- Master's Degree in Operations Research or related field
- extensive coursework in mathematics, probability, statistics, or mathematical logic
- at least 5 years of experience in their field
- Expert knowledge in operations research

- ability to deliver products in a state which requires minimal revisions
- ability to apply and provide all information, in a timely manner, related to obtaining access to databases and data required to perform duties
