Job Summary
Operations Representative monitors shipments in transit, schedules and dispatches professional teams, coordinates Canadian shipments and works with customs brokers, guides drivers through shipper/receiver procedures, coordinates deliveries and inquiries, maintains security logs, ensures safety/security compliance, and supports the fleet on a 36-hour weekly schedule with a full benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Transportation and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of military and/or transportation experience, preferred
- Capable of acquiring a Department of Defense Security Clearance
- Superior time management and ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Awareness of corporate culture and public image
- Must be able to work without supervision
- Proficiency with navigating multiple computer systems
- Excellent PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
