Job Summary
Leads and builds diverse teams during implementation of clearing and cleaning activities in refineries; independently creates, reviews, and implements MOC-level clearing and cleaning plans; trains client personnel on cleaning strategies; ensures safety and compliance; maintains client relationships and drives operational efficiencies; controls costs and ensures project outcomes; onsite safety liaison with incident reporting and root-cause investigation; travel up to 100–150 nights per year to support North American and international markets; requires refinery/chemical plant operations experience and RTI OPM Certification Roadmap credentials.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of refinery, upgrader, gas plants or chemical plant operations experience
- 2 years of experience independently and efficiently planning projects
- 2 years of experience diagnosing and solving complex operational problems in a refinery setting
- Successful completion of Execution Level 3 and Planning Level 4 of the RTI OPM Certification Roadmap
- Knowledge and understanding of complex process units and piping circuits gained through refinery operator experience
- Demonstrated ability to quickly master software tools
- History of consistently safe work practices in operational settings
- Demonstrated ability to clearly and confidently communicate plans to plant personnel at multiple organizational levels
- 1 year of experience in a lead turnaround role strongly preferred
- Pre-employment physical (objective medical evaluation) per company policy
- Ability to travel to outlying markets across North America and International Markets; 100 – 150 nights away from home per year
