Operations Project Manager

Job Summary

Lead cross-functional meetings, capture decisions, and assign action items to ensure timely follow-through across IT, Finance, Investments, and other divisions. Draft executive communications, prepare board-level presentations, and develop detailed project plans with RAID logs, dashboards, and status reports to track budgets and milestones. Manage complex calendaring for leadership, oversee logistics for key convenings, and synthesize operational data into actionable recommendations. Act as an administrative partner to the CFOO in priority sequencing and decision framing while supporting change management rollouts. Prepare expense reports and maintain organized documentation systems to ensure transparency and continuity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least seven years' experience in enterprise project management, strategy and operations, executive operations, or complex cross-functional environments
  • Professional and personal alignment with Silicon Valley Community Foundation's values and mission
  • Demonstrated ability to both design strategy and execute deliverables directly
  • Strong experience building project plans, dashboards, presentations, and tracking systems from the ground up
  • Proven success managing multiple concurrent initiatives with measurable impact
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint required)
  • Exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and executive presence
  • Ability to think strategically at the process level and execute tactically
  • Willingness to initiate and support tasks at all levels of the organization when necessary
  • Attention to detail, ability to set, meet, enforce deadlines and hold others accountable
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and listening skills for diverse audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment and with diverse groups of people
  • Commitment to customer service excellence and discretion with highly sensitive and confidential data
  • Openness to learning new frameworks and thinking critically about improving existing methods or approaches
  • Must be based and hold residency in California
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds
