Job Summary
Create and manage cohesive project programs with critical paths, task dependencies, and risk mitigation processes. Work with business process owners to scope opportunities and implement projects meeting business needs. Lead execution for internal departments and external clients by directing project teams and communicating requirements to stakeholders. Build relationships with senior leadership, develop customer presentations illustrating solution components, and support other project managers. This role supports RXO's mission to revolutionize the transportation industry through cutting-edge technology and a massive network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical field or equivalent related work or military experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics, transportation and/or warehousing
- 1 year of experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics
- Experience with Carrier Procurement, Load Planning & Execution, Freight Audit and Payment or Transportation Analysis
- Project and/or Program management experience
- Willingness to either obtain or maintain the Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience working with or implementing Transportation Management software
- Lean or Six Sigma experience or experience with Value Stream Mapping
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Risk Management Experience
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
