Job Summary
End-to-end management of capital projects from concept development through mechanical completion and handover to site operations and startup. Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Tech Ops, Finance, Procurement, and EHS; coordinate with site leadership and startup teams to ensure alignment between project execution and operations. Drive scope, schedule, cost, risk management, and disciplined change control; oversee external partners (EPCM, OEMs, contractors) and vendor accountability for deliverables. Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements; manage project documentation, turnover packages, and readiness for CQV/startup. Travel domestically and internationally to visit equipment manufacturers and support projects. This role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of capital-project management experience in manufacturing or regulated environments; PMP or project-management certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience managing large, complex capital projects in manufacturing or regulated environments
- Strong understanding of GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external partners (EPCM, OEMs, contractors)
- Experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and change control
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Clear communication and ability to influence at all organizational levels
