Operations Project Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate MIRATECH projects from the operations side, including purchasing, coordinating with the project manager, and overseeing shipping as part of the project lifecycle. Attend internal kickoff meetings, become familiar with the full product line and processes, and work with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to prepare and track project budgets and actuals (with accounting assistance). Create internal ERP jobs to track costs and manage purchase orders with suppliers, and communicate with external vendors on project status through fabrication. Manage scope changes affecting schedule, cost, and revenue; coordinate shipping and job closure at project ship-out; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in a relevant major from an accredited college/university
- 0-4 years prior project management experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Detail oriented while able to look at the 'big picture' of a project
- Ability to manage multiple small to medium sized projects at a time
- Positive attitude with a good sense of humor
