Operations Project Leader

Job Summary
Lead multiple moderate to highly complex operations projects for NPD, process improvement and manufacturing support with minimal direction; create project schedules and resource plans (RASICs), facilitate project meetings, track timelines, and communicate status across Quality & Reliability, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Supply & Demand, Marketing, and other groups; identify risks and implement mitigation plans; oversee day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams and visit production sites (Milwaukee area and international) to ensure objectives are met; functional focus includes machine improvements, capacity projects, design changes, and cost/reliability improvements; requires engineering degree and 7+ years experience, strong problem-solving, and proficiency with MS Project; CAD skills and ERP/WMS experience are advantageous; travel domestically and internationally is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain or operations
- Minimum 7 years engineering experience in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
- Ability to travel to China and domestically several times a year (approximately 15% travel)
