Job Summary
Lead moderate to highly complex engineering projects for strategic initiatives with minimal direction, managing relationships between internal and external teams involved in new product development launches and manufacturing support. Provide technical direction to assure successful and timely implementation, utilizing data-driven decision making to influence key stakeholders and track milestones to QB, MP, PR, and ship dates. Review work of manufacturing and process engineers, perform data analysis to produce reports on financial impacts, supply chain design, and logistics modeling, and recommend changes to existing standards. Ensure operational readiness and implementation, including integration of equipment, tooling, and safety compliance, while communicating technical details to engineers and non-engineers across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or engineering related field
- Minimum 2 years' engineering experience in related field
- Experience successfully managing low-moderate complexity projects and/or subsystems of larger projects
- Must be able to personally conduct detailed analyses or recognize the need and seek the appropriate expertise to achieve the desired results
- CAD Skills Level: Basic 2D
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Travel required to execute critical projects/initiatives (frequency dependent upon project) undefinedOther
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the technologies associated with manufacturing and kitting processes
- Graduate studies in business areas such as Project Management, Finance, Marketing, or Organizational studies
- Formal project management training preferred
