Job Summary
Senior Operations Program Manager for MAITE Finland to ensure continuity and effective operation of the MAITE organization in a fast-moving satellite manufacturing environment. Represents the Director in technical meetings, leads cross-functional improvement projects (including MES implementation across MAITE production), coordinates the MAITE Team Lead meetings, and maintains organizational rhythm and visibility across six pillars (AIT Engineering, Smart Manufacturing, Production, Stock Management, Facility Management, and Project Management). Responsibilities include ensuring continuity in the Director's absence, driving project status reporting and risk management, planning quarterly offsites, and enabling the Director's bandwidth by consolidating updates and surfacing blockers. Requires technical depth in satellite systems, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to operate with delegated authority across a high-trust organization; English fluency is required with Finnish or other European languages a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace, space systems, or high-reliability manufacturing environments
- proven experience managing projects or initiatives independently from scoping to execution to reporting
- strong meeting facilitation and communication skills
- exceptional organizational ability
- high emotional intelligence and interpersonal trust to work with all levels of the organization
- fluent in English; Finnish or other European languages are a plus but not required
- technical depth in satellite systems, spacecraft integration, or AIT to credibly represent the Director in engineering and production discussions
