Job Summary
Drive Operations deliverables through NPI phase-gates, coordinating build POs, material readiness, and test plans across EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP phases with ODMs. Own the operations program schedule, surface delays with recovery plans, and manage ramp recovery against daily plans while ensuring no golden-sample waivers. Execute the NPI Operations Playbook by aligning sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and demand planning at each gate, tracking milestones, budget spend, and first-pass yield metrics. Facilitate cross-functional communication across engineering, product, and marketing to keep launch goals aligned, manage ECO/PCN implementations, and lead post-MP retrospectives. Report program status using established dashboards to ensure gates exit criteria are met and production ramps to plan.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years managing consumer electronics operations programs
- Command of the consumer electronics build sequence - EVT, DVT, PVT, MP - including build planning, FAI, first-pass yield, and IQC/OQC/ORT concepts
- Experience running builds or programs through Asia-based ODM
- Familiarity with ECO/PCN change processes and with regulatory compliance and industry standards for consumer electronics
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, supply chain, or a related field
