Job Summary
Operations Principal Associate, Collections & Recoveries responsible for building and running Mission Lane's outsourced collections infrastructure. You’ll own a complex, multi-stakeholder initiative, serve as the primary operational point of contact with the first vendor partner, and design/integrate the infrastructure needed to move accounts into external agencies (e.g., SFTP pipelines, automated placement logic, vendor scorecards, QA and call-monitoring protocols, and transition playbooks). You’ll collaborate with engineering, data, legal and compliance to define requirements, execute on cross-functional initiatives, and drive performance improvements in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Requires 5+ years in collections with outsourcing experience, strong program management, ability to translate technical and regulatory needs into actionable plans, and willingness to travel within the US for onsite reviews and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the collections industry
- 5+ years of experience designing processes and infrastructure for outsourcing work
- 5+ years of experience managing relationships in outsourced collections
- Proven ability to develop and execute structured operational plans with milestones
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, legal, compliance)
- Ability to travel for onsite agency reviews and company meetings within the US
- Strong communication skills; ability to bridge between senior leadership and front-line agency management
