Operations Planning Coordinator

Job Summary
Foster a safe work environment by enforcing all safety and regulatory procedures and promptly acting on unsafe situations. Input site manufacturing, production, and team member schedules per policy to facilitate day-to-day operations and support long-term planning timelines. Work with production scheduling and management teams to ensure goals are met, collaborate on schedule changes due to machine or labor shortages, and reconcile planned versus actual schedules. Request and collaborate on adjustments to meet unforeseen conditions while communicating clearly to all teams and management. Follow workflow best practices to maximize available capacity and initiate issue resolution for production success. Track, maintain, and report data timely while engaging in improvement initiatives to increase facility performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience in scheduling, data entry, manufacturing
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written and presentations)
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines
- Proactive; exercises sound judgement and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to visit the manufacturing areas which require, hearing protection, safety shoes, vision, and other required protection when in manufacturing areas
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree and/or Bachelor's degree is a plus in field related to supply chain or customer service
