Job Summary
The Operations Partner role involves managing the logistics of Bird's local fleet of e-scooters and e-bikes in Providence. Responsibilities include utilizing personal or fleet vehicles to collect, charge, and deploy vehicles while ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Candidates must have reliable access to a suitable vehicle, storage space for charging, and a valid driver's license. This independent contractor position offers a pay-per-task structure with earnings between $20-$30 per hour based on activity.
Required Qualifications
- Must own or have consistent access to at least one large vehicle (van/truck) suitable for transporting multiple scooters/bikes
- Access to a garage, warehouse, or commercial facility with electricity is highly preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or applicable commercial license) with a clean driving record for all operating drivers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexible schedule with a willingness to regularly operate on weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Providence's local geography
- Comfortable learning new mobile tools to locate and manage the fleet
