Job Summary
Independent contractor Operations Partner in Denver, CO, working with the local City Operations Manager to manage Bird’s scooter fleet. You will monitor, transport, rebalance, and maintain our e-scooters to meet community transportation needs, using mobile technology to ensure a safe, environmentally friendly scooter is available nearby. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end operation of the portfolio (charging, deploying, relocating, retrieving), problem solving, prioritization, and executing tasks with initiative. The role requires a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, LLC, and appropriate insurance; a strong knowledge of local geography; flexible daily availability including weekends; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods; and the ability to learn new tools and processes in a dynamic team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Business LLC
- General liability insurance (or able to acquire within 30 days of onboarding)
- General commercial auto insurance (or able to acquire within 30 days of onboarding)
- Valid Drivers License
- Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related duties
- Strong knowledge of the local geography
- Flexible availability and willingness to work daily, including weekends
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stoop, bend, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
- Self-motivated, energetic and driven individual with the ability to learn new skills and build a team
- Ability to simplify difficult problems into actionable and solvable tasks
