Job Summary

Unload trucks, validate deliveries against documentation, and notify supervisors of discrepancies. Pick orders for specific customer requirements and load finished goods onto trailers within specified timeframes. Operate and maintain material handling equipment including stand up forklifts, pallet jacks, and high reach trucks. Use an RF scanner for accurate order selection and ensure products are correctly labeled for proper storing. Perform cycle counts and variance reporting while following Good Manufacturing Practices and safety rules. Work on both receiving and shipping docks, maintaining a clean environment and adhering to OSHA guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to read, write and follow instructions while working independently
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand
  • Must be able to walk
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Must be able to talk or hear
  • Must occasionally sit
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms
  • Must have close vision
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
  • Must follow set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Must be able to work in a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels
  • Must be able to handle exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors
  • Must be available for travel if required
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent attendance and dependability
  • Must be able to accurately and timely select customers' orders
  • Must be able to unload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation
  • Must be able to ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use
  • Must be able to distribute items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered
  • Must be able to load finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe
  • Must be able to perform and report cycle counts
  • Must be able to follow daily operations schedule and achieve specified goals
  • Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment including stand up forklifts, pallet jacks and high reach trucks
  • Must be able to operate and maintain RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer)
  • Must be able to work on both the Receiving and Shipping docks as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with operating material handling equipment
  • Experience working in a warehouse or distribution setting
