Job Summary
Operations Optimization & Production Planning Analyst role responsible for managing the master production schedule for print and direct mail across two facilities, analyzing production data to forecast capacity, improve scheduling accuracy, and support pricing/estimating alignment. Key duties include developing and maintaining the master schedule, forecasting volumes, capacity planning, workload balancing, identifying bottlenecks, collaborating with estimating and operations teams, and supporting AI-assisted scheduling tools. Must extract and interpret data from Midnight and related systems, build dashboards for leadership, and drive data-driven continuous improvement across sites. Strong data analysis, communication with cross-functional teams, and experience with production planning in a multi-site environment are required. This is an in-person role with Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM shifts, with travel between facilities as needed, and relocation assistance is provided. The position emphasizes proficiency with data analytics, AI tools, and ERP/MIS systems to optimize planning and execution across both Cincinnati, OH and Louisville, KY sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, operations analysis, or a related role, ideally within print, direct mail, or manufacturing environments
- Experience with master scheduling, capacity planning, and job costing is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using operational systems and data analytics tools (e.g., Midnight, Excel, BI platforms) to drive process improvements
