Job Summary
Unit-based Operations/Monitor Associate at Baystate Noble Hospital on 36-hour night shifts. Responsible for bed management, admissions/discharges/transfers (ADTs), and coordinating patient throughput; acts as receptionist for the unit; orients patients and families; communicates with nursing and clinical staff; monitors documentation and records, including OA Gold and BMD entries; rounds with RNs and Case Management regarding discharges and timelines; supports hospitalists with rounds and coverage; maintains unit logs and supplies, and assists with unit resources, staffing, and emergency procedures. Requires proficiency with computer systems (C Word, OA Gold, SMS, CIS, Premise, BMD, PCM Auditor, PeopleSoft) and completion of a dysrhythmia course within 6 weeks of hire. Education requirement: GED or HiSET; Basic Life Support certification preferred. Compensation note provides hourly base pay range ($17.98–$24.12) and notes payment according to hospital pay structure.
