Job Summary
Operates under direct supervision to support patient and family centered care teams by managing documentation, organizing medical records, and facilitating unit operations. Responsibilities include bed management, utilizing various computer applications, and ensuring effective communication among staff. Observes and reports on cardiac monitors after completing the required training. Additional duties involve patient and family orientation to the unit, assisting with admissions and discharges, inventory management, and maintaining necessary hospital records. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant customer service experience, and be able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1-2 years experience in customer service (healthcare setting preferred)
- Medical administrative experience strongly preferred
- Prior EKG training a huge plus!
- Ability to work rotating days, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to multitask
- Computer literate
