Job Summary
Directs and optimizes the distribution-center operations for The Chefs’ Warehouse, overseeing inbound receipt and storage, inventory management, outbound order filling and shipping, budgeting, customer service, facility and equipment operation, and loss prevention. Leads warehouse and transportation teams, drives process improvements, and coordinates cross-functionally with HR, IT, and Finance to enhance reporting, information flow, and organizational planning. Ensures health and safety compliance and strives for operational excellence through staff development and performance management. Requires a college degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance and 7-10 years of leadership experience in facilities/construction management; based in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance related field
- 7-10 years of experience in Facilities & Construction management
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
- Budget development and oversight experience
- Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style
- Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization
- Ability to look at situations from several points of view
- Persuasive with details and facts
- Delegate responsibilities effectively
