Job Summary
Operates and maintains filling-line equipment on the Night shift to maximize product quality and department efficiency. Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring filling machines, CIP and testing, performing weight, sterility, and packaging checks, and coordinating with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment. Maintains clean, organized work areas and ensures compliance with GMP, SOPs, HACCP, and SQF; completes paperwork legibly for FDA requirements; communicates effectively with the Production team to monitor yields, scrap, and overall plant productivity. Requires ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a manufacturing environment with allergens; no supervisory duties. Shift is 6pm–6:30am on a 2-2-3 pattern at the Modesto, CA plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to climb stairs repeatedly during shift
- Must be able to maintain accurate and legible handwriting and documentation
- Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues
- Must follow GMPs and Safety Procedures
- Must be able to work in a team-based environment
- Must understand allergens and HACCP/SQF requirements
