Job Summary
Operations Manager leading day-to-day mitigation operations for water, fire, mold, biohazard, and other emergency restoration projects in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include mentoring and guiding mitigation supervisors, project managers, and field technicians; ensuring work aligns with IICRC standards, SOPs, and safety regulations; scheduling crews and resources to meet response times and client deadlines; monitoring progress to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction; reviewing scopes, estimates, and documentation for accuracy and compliance with insurance requirements; coordinating with insurance adjusters, property managers, subcontractors, and clients; tracking KPIs to drive improvements; overseeing equipment, inventory, and fleet readiness; recruiting, training, and developing staff; enforcing PPE and regulatory compliance; participating in after-hours on-call rotations; collaborating with leadership to improve workflows and drive profitability; managing job costs and productivity; fostering accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience within the restoration industry
- Proven ability to build, motivate and maintain a high performing team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet/software systems
- Organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and accountable with continual self-development
- Bilingual is a plus
- Experience with Xactimate is a plus
