Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of approximately 20 employees by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training resources while coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff to drive performance. Manage daily warehouse operations to support business strategy, focusing on safety, quality, and continuous improvement through problem-solving and project management. Monitor expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet financial standards and KPI metrics. Provide annual budget information and oversee facility performance scorecards. Own process improvement efforts using 4DX methodologies. This role requires 5+ years of warehouse managerial experience and proficiency in warehouse management software.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role
- Proven capability in identifying and implementing CI actions that deliver measurable improvements to cost, service and quality
- Demonstrated capabilities in developing others and growing leadership competencies in their direct reports
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Ability to analyze data and determine actions based on improvement opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
