Job Summary
Operations Manager at United Rentals to coordinate and direct the delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity. Lead with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, world-class customer service, and policy compliance; oversee sales efforts and business initiatives; manage performance of direct staff (Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and others); motivate, coach, and train personnel; promote a culture of safety and accountability; support actions to achieve financial objectives and ensure operational efficiency. Must demonstrate leadership, communication, teamwork, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of sales and operational experience
- Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related
- Strong motivational and leadership skills
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable record
- This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures
