Job Summary
Operations Manager for Flooring and Facility Solutions at United Rentals leads a new business from the ground up, coordinating and directing delivery of white-glove service to facility maintenance and restoration customers, partnering with the district manager to ensure safety, training, policy compliance, and efficient operations, overseeing FFS sales efforts, and managing direct staff (including FFS Outside Sales Representatives and Mechanics) with a focus on leadership, coaching, and accountability. Responsibilities include supporting financial objectives, enforcing company policies, driving performance, promoting safety and discipline, and handling other duties as needed. Key skills include leadership, sales and operational experience, customer service, team collaboration, communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of sales and operational experience
- Strong motivational and leadership skills
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable record
- Safety-sensitive role consideration
