Job Summary
Operations Manager at the Whitewater Center oversees the daily operations of multiple business units, leading a large team in a high-volume environment. The role focuses on developing and maintaining quality assurance and safety protocols, leveraging business metrics to drive performance and maximize profit and revenue, and using key tools to measure team results against goals. The position entails planning and executing existing and new programming, accountability for P&L across units, and on-site leadership with a strong emphasis on outdoor work and event-based scheduling. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of management experience, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during Whitewater events. Physical readiness for outdoor work and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Hospitality, Outdoor Recreation or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in management and/or leadership
- Experience managing P&L
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and during Whitewater events as needed
