Job Summary
Lead teams in a dynamic operational environment to consistently exceed established goals and demonstrate a commitment to customers and innovation. Develop forward-looking plans and turn them into successful execution while effectively managing resources to achieve operational excellence and meet the site financial operating plan. Establish and sustain a trained, competent workforce through recruitment, hiring, training, development, and retention, ensuring all associates understand their role in customer business objectives. Implement and maintain an incident-free safety culture by leading personal examples, coaching observations, and proactively correcting unsafe conditions. Meet or exceed all customer key performance metrics by interacting daily with local customers to understand emerging needs and identifying operational improvements in route optimization, carrier selection, and trailer loading. Develop and execute an annual financial and operating plan to lead the operation with integrity, ensuring accurate billing, payroll, and P&L reflection.

- Ability to establish and sustain recruitment, hiring, training, development, and retention of quality associates

- Ability to establish and sustain strong and effective relationships with associates, customers, and supporting departments
- Ability to meet or exceed all customer key performance metrics and objectives
- Ability to interact daily with local customers to ensure existing and emerging customer needs are understood
- Ability to lead team to identify operational improvements in areas such as route optimization, carrier selection, backhauls, and trailer loading
- Ability to collaborate with other sites to share best practices and leverage resources/assets
- Ability to develop and execute annual financial and operating plan
- Ability to lead the operation with integrity to meet or exceed Business Plan targets
- Ability to identify issues with operating metrics and P&L and make required adjustments in a timely manner
- Ability to ensure customer billings and associate payroll are prepared timely and accurately
- Ability to ensure payables and intercompany charges are valid and correct
- Ability to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, company policies and procedures
- Ability to lead a culture of safety through personal example
- Ability to develop, execute, and assess continuous improvement plan to reduce accident and injury frequency
- Ability to ensure each associate understands their individual role and responsibilities
